Introducing Our Adult Ministry
Welcome to our thriving adult ministry, a community dedicated to supporting and nurturing the spiritual growth and fellowship of adults at every stage of life. Our ministry provides a warm and welcoming environment where adults can connect, build meaningful relationships, and deepen their faith through engaging discussions, studies, and various activities. Whether you're a young professional, a parent, or a retiree, there's a place for you in our adult ministry as we come together to explore God's word, navigate life's challenges, and celebrate our diverse journeys of faith. Join us as we seek to live out our faith in authentic and impactful ways within our church and the broader community.
Teen Ministry
Teenagers are invited to be a part of an active, exciting, and growing ministry here at Cornerstone. We have two classes for teenagers every week. Sunday School is at 10:00a.m., and the Conquerors Class each Wednesday night at 7:00p.m. These classes are designed to help teenagers be successful in dealing with the issues and temptations they face in today's world. The Cornerstone Conquerors Teen Ministry is a place where teenagers can get involved with other young people who are growing in the Word of God. Teens are also an active part of our outreach programs and are making a difference in our community.
We also have many activities for teens to be a part of including Friday night activities twice every month. Along with summer camp, and other special events throughout the year, there is always something positive for teenagers to be involved in. If you are a teenager we invite you to come and be a part of our Cornerstone Conquerors Teen Ministry with our teen Pastor Jerod Evans.
Young Adults (Upper Room Fellowship)
Our Young Adult Upper Room Fellowship Ministry provides a welcoming space for individuals in the young adult stage to come together in faith and community. With a focus on fostering spiritual growth, meaningful connections, and service opportunities, our ministry aims to support and empower young adults in their journey of faith. Join us as we explore, learn, and grow together in our shared walk with God.
Ladies Ministry
Our ladies are an active part of the ministries here at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Each Tuesday morning, some of our ladies meet together to pray and to visit with folks in the community. We also have a ladies meeting on the fourth Monday night of every month, which is led by our Pastor's wife, Elizabeth Kerley. Our ladies group is a place for fellowship, and also a place for service. Our ladies work in nursing homes, food preparation for bereaved families of the church, and a Ladies Fall Fellowship meeting every October.
Cornerstone Kids
We are proud to announce the “Lighthouse Kids’ Klub,” a Brand-New, Bible-Based, Exciting, Fun-Filled Children’s Church Curriculum! This new 52-week program focuses on Bible memorization and encourages/rewards faithful Sunday school attendance, personal daily Bible reading and prayer. Not only will kids enjoy this program but they will also complete the bible in three years.
Spanish Ministry
Our Spanish Ministry is a vibrant community dedicated to serving and connecting with Spanish-speaking individuals seeking spiritual guidance and support. Through a range of programs, events, and services conducted in Spanish, we aim to foster a welcoming environment where individuals can explore and deepen their faith. Whether you are looking to worship, participate in community outreach, or simply connect with others who share your language and culture, our Spanish Ministry provides a space where all are welcomed with open arms. Join us as we come together to grow in faith and fellowship, making a positive difference in the lives of those around us.
Faith and Courage
Our ministry stands as a beacon of hope and support for those who have lost their life partners. At Faith and Courage, we understand the immense challenges that come with such a profound loss. Through our unwavering commitment to providing solace, guidance, and a sense of community, we aim to empower widows and widowers on their journey toward healing and rediscovery. Join us as we embrace courage, foster faith, and walk together on the path to renewal.
Bible Printing Ministry
The Lord has blessed our church with a wonderful opportunity to have a bible production and distribution ministry.
Each week, a group of our members work together collating, checking, binding, trimming, and boxing Bibles and New Testaments. These Scriptures are then distributed both locally through our church ministries, and globally through missionaries and military chaplaincy programs.
If you are in need of a Bible or a New Testament, please let us know. We will be glad to give you one.
Visitation and Transportation
We have a very active visitation program here at Cornerstone. We endeavor to reach unsaved people for Christ, to visit those who are sick, or in the hospital, to encourage those in the nursing home, and to help those in the nursing home, and to help those who are home-bound. As a part of our visitation ministry, we also have a van ministry which brings people to church who need transportation.
